The fuel injection pump is an important component of Yuchai diesel generators. 1. Cleaning of the fuel injection pump of Yuchai diesel generator sets

The oil lubrication of the fuel injection pump is divided into two types: independent lubrication and forced lubrication. Independent lubrication means using an oil can to regularly add oil to the governor and the fuel injection pump body of the fuel injection pump respectively. Forced lubrication is to lead an oil pipe from the main oil passage of the engine block to lubricate the fuel injection pump, and the oil comes from the engine oil pan, so it is difficult to ensure the cleanliness of the oil. Therefore, before installing a used fuel injection pump, in addition to removing the dust and debris on the outside, it is necessary to pour clean diesel into the oil pump from the oil inlet and shake it several times to clean the deposits inside the pump. In addition, there is a filter screen at the oil inlet of the fuel transfer pump, which needs to be removed and cleaned at the same time.

2. Inspection of Yuchai diesel generator sets

Before installation, check whether the fuel - adding handle and the fuel - cut - off handle of the oil pump are flexible, and check (and blow clean) whether there are any debris on the delivery valve joint. The fuel injection pumps of YC6108ZLQB and YC6L models are equipped with a timing device. Before installation, the first cylinder of the oil pump must be in the state of supplying oil at the top dead center.

On the VE pump body, there is a locking shaft bolt on the left side of the cold - start acceleration advance device, and a "U" - shaped gasket is pressed on the bolt, as shown in Figure 2 - 9 - 2. When a new pump leaves the factory, the oil pump shaft is in the position of supplying oil to the first cylinder, and there is no need to install the "U" - shaped gasket.
