Cleaning Operation of Sealing Oil for Volvo Generator Sets

Volvo generators undergo sealing oil flushing operations. During the flushing process, sealing oil should not be splashed into the sealing pad seat. The air side oil of the sealing oil system should be directly connected to the Volvo generator lubricating oil return oil to prevent sealing oil from entering the generator and affecting its normal operation. Flushing of air side sealing oil pipeline: Turn on the AC lubricating oil pump of the main oil tank, open the inlet valve of the low-pressure backup oil pipeline for sealing oil, and the inlet and outlet valves of the air side sealing oil filter screen (remove the filter element), isolate the air side oil cooler, and flush the air side sealing oil pipeline. (The sealing oil inlet on the air side is short circuited back to the generator lubricating oil return main pipe near the Volvo generator end cover).

Flush the sealing pad seat (remove the sealing pad before flushing, restore the original short circuit oil inlet and return pipelines, and control the pressure through the low-pressure backup oil circuit valve to prevent sealing oil from entering the interior of the Volvo generator). During the flushing process, the oil is returned to the main oil tank, and the sewage is regularly discharged from the lower drain outlet of the hydrogen oil separator. The oil filter is regularly turned on to discharge the accumulated dirty oil inside the main oil tank.

Flushing of hydrogen side sealing oil pipeline: When flushing the hydrogen side sealing oil pipeline, open the makeup and drain valves of the hydrogen side sealing oil tank, open the inlet and outlet valves of the hydrogen side filter screen, open the inlet and outlet valves of the oil cooler, and open the inlet and outlet valves of the hydrogen side sealing oil pump. Let the hydrogen side lubricating oil pass through the sealing oil regulating station, and flush the sealing oil hydrogen side oil pipeline by starting the hydrogen side sealing oil pump. Repeat the above flushing process until the oil sample passes the test and the system is restored.
