1. Cylinder Head

The cylinder head cracks and leaks water. The cracking positions are generally between two cylinders, at the bridge area or the swirl chamber. The main reasons are as follows:

The cylinder head itself has a thin casting wall.

The fuel pump supplies too much fuel, and the fuel supply time is too early.

The injector has poor atomization and may even leak oil, resulting in a long combustion time and an excessively high engine temperature.

During use, the user operates the engine under long - term overload.

The engine cracks when cold water is suddenly added while the engine is short of water or overheated.

2. Early Wear of Valves and Valve Seats

The main reasons are as follows:

The intake air is not clean.

The valve clearance is too large, causing the valves to be in a state of constant knocking.

The exhaust valve clearance is too small, accelerating the wear due to valve burning.

3. Valve Head Breakage

The reasons are mostly due to poor valve quality and excessive valve clearance, which leads to frequent knocking. For vehicles equipped with exhaust brakes, when the exhaust brake is blocked, the exhaust is blocked and there is a back - flushing phenomenon. This can easily cause the valve lock clips to fall off, resulting in the valve falling off and being damaged.

4. Early Wear of the Contact Surfaces between the Valve Rocker Arm Shaft, Valve Adjusting Screw End, Valve Stem End and the Rocker Arm

The reasons are as follows:

The oil pressure is low, and there is insufficient oil supply to the rocker arm.

The structure of the rocker arm is unreasonable, so that the oil on the rocker arm cannot flow to the adjusting screw and the valve stem end, resulting in dry friction.

5. Rocker Arm Shaft Assembly: Burning of Rocker Arm Bronze Bushings and Rocker Arm Shaft

The main reasons are as follows:

The oil pressure is low, and the oil cannot reach the rocker arm.

The nuts at both ends of the oil pipe on the rocker arm shaft seat are not tightened, causing leakage, or the oil pipe is broken.
