Diesel Generator Sets Fully Automatic Parallel Cabinet Project Part 2

Automatic tracking and synchronization:

 

The electronic automatic synchronizer adopts fully automatic frequency and phase tracking, and automatically synchronizes the closing process. In the normal response state of the unit speed control system, the parallel process can be completed within 3 seconds after the unit reaches the rated speed without any adjustment by the operator.

 

Automatic load allocation:

 

Adopting an equal band zero difference automatic load distribution system, fully electronic, with high response sensitivity and high adjustment progress, the total load can be evenly distributed according to the size ratio of different power generators. The deviation rate of automatic load distribution from no-load to full load can be controlled within 10%. Equipped with a PID closed-loop control loop, it can increase the fuel volume in advance before the speed changes when the load fluctuates significantly, instead of the lag characteristic of traditional speed control systems that require refueling after the speed drops, making the power grid performance more superior.

 

Protection function: Adopting a fully functional and electronic protection system to ensure the safety and reliability of the diesel generator.

 

1. Interlocking tripping in case of unit failure: If the unit is shut down due to issues such as high water temperature during operation, its parallel switch will be interlocked and tripped simultaneously to avoid dragging other operating units down by reverse power.

 

2. Reverse power protection: The reverse power protection device monitors the power load of the generator. If the reverse power reaches the preset level (with an adjustment range of 2% -20%) within the predetermined time (with an adjustment range of 2% -20%), the load switch will open. Prevent one generator from being dragged by another. These pre adjustments are generally five seconds and less than 20% reverse power. When the engine or control system of the operating unit fails, causing the unit to be unable to output normally, the control system will automatically cut off the unit and issue an audible and visual alarm.

 

3. Overcurrent protection: When the load carried by the unit exceeds its rated value by 80% -100% (adjustable) during operation, the control system will automatically cut off the unit and issue an audible and visual alarm.

 

4. The parallel cabinet panel device has a 360 degree rotating pointer synchronous meter, synchronous light, and multi turn frequency and voltage fine adjustment. During emergency manual parallel operation, the frequency difference and voltage between the unit and the busbar can be observed and adjusted. Implement manual parallel connection.

 

5. A self-locking red emergency stop button is prominently located on the parallel cabinet panel of the diesel generator set. When the on duty personnel discover an unexpected emergency situation, they can press this button to immediately disconnect and exit the parallel system.
