Fault Measures for Parallel Controller of Diesel Generator Set

Diesel generator sets have widely adopted parallel control technology. What are the measures that can be taken in case of failure of the parallel controller (Zhongzhi HGM9510) of the diesel generator set? Controller has no response when powered on

Check the starting battery, check the controller wiring, check the DC fuse

Generator set shutdown

Check if the water/cylinder temperature is too high, check the AC generator voltage, and check the DC fuse

Controller emergency stop

Check if the emergency stop button function is correct, check if the emergency stop button function is correct, check if the positive terminal of the starting battery is correctly connected to the emergency stop input, and check if there is an open circuit in the wiring

Low oil pressure alarm after successful startup

Check the oil pressure sensor and its wiring

High water temperature alarm after successful startup

Check the water temperature sensor and its wiring

Alarm and shutdown during operation

According to the LCD display information, check the relevant switches and wiring, programmable input port, power generation closing fault, auxiliary input port of the switch, and check the power generation closing relay

Failed to start

Check the fuel circuit and its connecting wires: check the starter battery; Check the speed sensor and its connecting wires; Refer to the engine manual

The starter motor is not responding

Check the starter motor connection wire; Check the starting battery; Check the speed sensor and its connecting wires; Review the engine manual

The unit is running but the switch is not functioning

Check the switch, check the connection wire between the controller and the switch

RS485 cannot communicate normally

Check the connection; Check if the COM port settings are correct; Check if the A and B wires of RS485 are connected in reverse; Check if the RS485 conversion module is damaged; Check if the communication port of the PC is damaged.

ECU communication failure

Check CAN high and CAN low polarity; Check if the 120 ohm matching resistor is connected correctly; Check if the engine type selection is correct; Check if the communication port of the control PC is damaged.

ECU warning or shutdown

Refer to the alarm screen to obtain information; If there are specific alarm contents, check the engine according to the contents; If there is no specific alarm content, please refer to the engine manual for information based on the SPN alarm code.
