Connect 9996666 Nipple and 9998339 Manometer. Where necessary, 9998493 Hose may be used between the nipple and the manometer. Test run the engine at full load in order to check max boost air pressure.
Removal NOTICE! Be prepared to gather up fluids. 1 Drain the coolant entirely of sufficiently for the level to be below the e-EGR coolant pipe; refer to Coolant, Change page 187. 2 Remove the check valve according to Non-return valve e-EGR, change page 163. 3 Remove the coolant pipe, outlet, from the e-EGR cooler.
2 Remove the hose (1) between the inlet manifold and the charge air cooler. Remove the electrical connection (2) from the pre-heater relay. Remove the connector (3) from the preheater element. Remove the electrical connection (4) from the charge air pressure sensor.
1 Lubricate 88880057 Thread tap (M9) with grease in order to prevent swarf from falling into the cylinder. Screw the thread tap at least 5 mm into the copper sleeve, using 9998252 Thread cutting tool. 2 Remove tool 9998252 Thread cutting tool and 88880057 Thread tap .
