2. Meaning of generator model:

The model of the Inge generator is named in the following way:

EG - represents the EG series generator 280- represents the base number of the generator (160, 225, 280, 315, 355, 400, 450, 500, 560)

S -- represents the length of the base (M, L) 120-- represents the capacity band of the generator, KW

N -- represents the improvement and use of the generator, N -- the newly improved NEW series; H - Marine series; B - Deformable products

3. Nameplate

The generator nameplate is located on the right side of the engine body at the drive end.

4. Receiving inspection and storage

When the generator arrives, the user should immediately open the box and check whether the generator meets the order requirements, random documents, and whether there is any damage by referring to the nameplate.

If the generator is not used immediately, the packaging should be restored and stored in a dry, moisture-proof, non corrosive, acidic, alkaline, salt spray and other harmful gases, with a temperature not lower than 0 ℃. Storage is the responsibility of the user, and damage caused by improper storage by the factory is not covered by the warranty.

Usage environment

The EG series generator can operate at rated speed under the following altitude and ambient air temperature conditions.

1. Altitude not exceeding 1000m

2. The operating environment temperature is -15 ℃ to 40 ℃

3. Relative humidity of cooling air: ≤ 90% (25 ℃)

The working principle of Inge generators

After the engine drives the rotor of the generator to rotate, the generator relies on its own residual magnetic voltage to provide excitation current to the excitation field of the exciter after rectification, and the excitation motor armature voltage (EXCITERROTOR) gradually increases. The AC voltage is rectified by a rotating rectifier bridge (ROTARINGDIODES) and sent to the rotor magnetic field, causing the main generator to establish voltage. When the speed approaches the rated value, the voltage regulator (AVR) that obtains the induced voltage (SENSE) and excitation power (INPUTPOWER) from the output rapidly increases the generator voltage and stabilizes it at the rated value.
