The design of the Dingbo series diesel generator set is a complete combination, providing excellent and reliable performance. The main components are marked on the structural diagram of a standard generator. Then there may be slight changes depending on the main structure of different models. Details will be described in the technical article published later. Each generator set has a nameplate. Usually nailed to the outer shell or hollow shell of an AC generator set. The data on the nameplate is used to identify the generator and its operating characteristics. These data include model, unit number, output voltage, phase and frequency, as well as the specified power (output power expressed in KVA or KW). For reference, these data will also be duplicated in the technical data sheet attached to the manual. The serial number is unique and will not be duplicated. When purchasing accessories and warranty services, these data must be provided.

1. Diesel engine

Diesel engine is the power source of diesel generator set, specially designed and manufactured for generator set, with safe and reliable performance. Diesel engines belong to industrial 4-stroke compression ignition engines, equipped with related accessories, providing stable power supply. The accessories include cylindrical air filters, some diesel engine models are equipped with turbochargers, mechanical or electronic speed controllers, which precisely control the speed of the diesel engine.

2. The power system of diesel engines

The power system of the engine is a 12 volt or 24 volt negative grounded DC voltage system according to the model, including the starter motor, charging generator, and battery. In some large generators, batteries may be placed on the floor near the generator, and most generator sets provide one or two lead-acid batteries. According to customer requirements, this machine can also be equipped with other types of batteries.

3. Cooling system

The engine cooling system includes a heat sink, an axial fan, and a thermostat. The AC generator does not have a unique fan to cool the components. Pay attention to the airflow passing through the AC generator first. Then through the engine, and finally through the radiator.

4. AC generator

The output power is composed of an AC generator with a protective cover, a waterproof drip protection shell, a brushless automatic excitation type, and an automatic voltage stabilizing type. The control box is installed on the upper part.

5. Fuel tank

The diesel engine and AC generator are both installed on a thick steel base.

6. Silencers and exhaust systems

The exhaust muffler is randomly installed, and the muffler and exhaust system can reduce noise by directly discharging exhaust gas outdoors.

7. Shock absorber

This generator is equipped with shock absorbers and is specifically designed to reduce the transmission of vibration to the foundation during generator startup. These shock absorbers are installed between the feet and chassis of the engine/AC engine. However, in larger generators, the diesel engine/AC generator is fixed on the chassis, and shock absorbers are provided for customers to install between the chassis and the foundation.

8. Power output air switch

In order to protect the AC generator, the power switch suitable for the relevant model and related power output is placed in a separate switch box, and sometimes the switch may be placed on the automatic conversion system and control panel.
