Precautions for Trial Operation of GEC4500-4G Series Controllers

Before the official operation of the Fuchuang GEC4500-4G series controller, it is recommended to perform the following checks:

1. Check that all wiring is correct and the wire diameter is appropriate;

2. The DC working power supply of the controller is equipped with a fuse, and it is connected to the positive and negative terminals of the starting battery without any errors;

3. The emergency stop input is set through the switch input, and the normally closed points on both sides of the emergency stop button are connected to the switch input port and the negative pole of the controller. The effectiveness of the emergency stop alarm input is determined based on the polarity set by the programmable input port;

4. Take appropriate measures to prevent the engine from starting successfully (such as removing the wiring of the fuel valve), check for accuracy, connect the starting battery power, select manual mode, and the controller will execute the program;

5. Set the controller to manual, press the power button, and the generator set will start. After the set number of starts, the controller will send a start failure signal; Press the reset button to reset the controller;

6. Restore the measures to prevent the diesel engine from starting successfully (restore fuel valve wiring), press the start button again, and the generator set will start. If everything is normal, the generator set will go through idle operation (if idle is set) to normal operation. During this period, observe the engine operation and the voltage and frequency of the AC generator. If there is any abnormality, stop the operation of the generator set and check the wiring of each part according to this manual;

7. Select automatic mode from the front panel, then connect the mains signal. After the controller passes the normal delay of mains power, switch ATS (if any) to mains power load, cool down for a while, then shut down and enter standby mode until the mains power is abnormal again;

8. After the mains power is abnormal again, the generator set will automatically start and enter normal operation mode, and then issue a power generation closing command to control the ATS to switch to unit load. If not, refer to this manual to check the wiring of the ATS control section.
