Secondly, don't start the machine at idle speed for too long. Generally, when the Cummins diesel genset is started, it is best to run at idle speed for 10 minutes, especially when the weather is relatively cold, warm up the engine first, and then accelerate to 1500 rpm; when idling, the body is still relatively cold. If the pressure is low, the diesel will not burn completely, so it is easy to form carbon deposits, which will paste up the fuel injectors and cause blockages.

Finally, don't use low-quality diesel. Customers who use Cummins diesel generator sets should not be greedy for cheap diesel when they buy diesel. It is best to buy it at a regular place, because inferior diesel is not clean and may contain small particles, which will easily block the injectors and wear the injectors. The needle valve causes the engine to run unsteadily. The main symptoms are: black smoke is emitted and the body shakes badly. When these problems occur, the machine should be shut down for inspection.
