Types of Shutdown Alarms for The GEC4500-4G Generator Set Controller

When the controller detects a shutdown alarm signal, it immediately shuts down and opens, and disconnects the power generation closing relay signal, causing the load to detach and displaying the alarm type.

 Maintenance time to downtime

The maintenance type is the operation time. When the operation time of the generator set is greater than the maintenance time set by the user, or the maintenance type is the date, the current date exceeds the set date, and the maintenance action is set to alarm shutdown, the controller issues the shutdown alarm signal, and the word maintenance time to alarm shutdown is displayed on the LCD screen. The maintenance parameter can be reset by using the maintenance password to set the maintenance alarm.

When the controller detects that the external shutdown alarm input is valid, the controller sends the shutdown alarm signal and the LCD screen displays the external input alarm shutdown (IN).

 Overpower shutdown alarm

When the controller detects that the power value (positive power) of the generator set is greater than the set threshold value, and the overpower action type selects the alarm shutdown, the LCD screen displays the words of active power overload shutdown.

When the controller detects that the overcurrent fault shutdown input is valid, the controller sends a shutdown alarm signal, and the overcurrent fault alarm shutdown (IN) is displayed on the LCD screen.

When the pressure sensor connected to the programmable sensor interface is open, and the open circuit action of the programmable sensor is configured as alarm shutdown, the controller sends out an alarm signal, and the pressure sensor 2 is displayed on the LCD screen.
