With the continuous progress of science and technology and the increasing shortage of power supply, more and more applications have been made for all kinds of communication equipment and units. However, the service life and reliability of the generating set not only depend on the degree of structural perfection and product quality of the generator itself, but also are closely related to the correct use and serious maintenance. The following is the safe operation of diesel generator room.
1. Generator should be managed by special personnel, non-full-time personnel shall not be allowed in, and shoes must be insulated during operation.
2. Genset room should be equipped with corresponding fire fighting equipment.
3. Special personnel, full-time maintenance and operation of generators, should be familiar with machine operation construction principles.
4. The generator room should be wind-proof, rain-proof, and prevent small animals from entering.
5. On-duty personnel must be familiar with the performance of the generator set, and do winter anti-freezing, summer anti-high temperature and other maintenance work.
6. Before each use, check the amount of oil, whether the water tank is adequate, whether the throttle rack is flexible, and whether the battery has electricity. Before using in winter, try a few turns of the flywheel.
7. After the generator is in operation, it is necessary to observe whether the oil pressure meter and water thermometer are normal or not. Stop and check in time if there is any abnormality, and start the backup generator.
8. The generator must be in line with the electrician on duty in the distribution room before and after use, and the power transmission should be operated according to the operation rules of the electrician.
9. The generator is not in use for a long time and should be trial-operated once a week.
10. Standby generators should always run alternately to ensure that the standby generator is complete.
Tip: The starting method and operating procedure of diesel generator are different from each other. Therefore, the operator should follow the operation procedure strictly according to the product instruction, and do all the work well when using, adjusting and maintaining the generator set.
In civil buildings, especially for commercial use, diesel generators should be located on the ground floor. In some places with special requirements for noise, vibration and smoke, or where there is no suitable place in the room, the low noise box diesel generator can be selected. It should be located in a certain distance from the building to meet the application needs of special occasions. The following introduces the eight points for attention in the diesel generator room.
1. In the engine room, in addition to the cooling tank end, the other layout size requirements, please follow the "Civil Building Electrical Design Code" JGJ/T16-92 table 6.1.3.2 design. When the distance between the radiator and the wall is less than 250mm, the hot air can be drained directly into the wall. When the radiating water tank is 600-1000mm away from the wall, the hot air is exhausted to the outside by adding a wind guide hood, and a flexible joint is added between the wind guide hood and the radiating water tank. The net height of the generator station room is generally 2 times the height of the generator unit, and should be at least 1.5 m higher than the generator.
2. Some generating units should be installed with daily fuel tank, the capacity of daily fuel tank generally meets the operating requirements of 3? 8 h full load. Daily fuel tank shall be higher than diesel fuel pump and can be installed with support. The outlet must be higher than 100mm at the bottom of the tank to prevent impurity from blocking the tubing.
3. When the power of motor is greater than 500kW, it is recommended to install 16# I-steel under the roof above the unit to install lifting equipment.
The capacity of daily fuel tanks (not related to the capacity of generators) must be rigidly prescribed by the fire department in some places. The fuel tanks for daily use must be installed in separate fire proof rooms and equipped with accident tanks. To this end, must choose from the relevant departments to understand. When necessary, an underground storage tank is laid outside so that the external fuel can settle for a certain amount of time after unloading.
4. The general production plants provide the exhaust volume of each diesel generator unit, based on the principle that the air intake is greater than the exhaust air, thus the effective area of the inlet and outlet shutters can be obtained. Since the generator room is generally on the first underground floor, there should be a large enough exhaust vertical, which is beneficial to noise elimination. The inlet shutter is generally located at the rear end of the generator, and the exhaust shutter is located at the position corresponding to the inlet shutter. If the location of the basement, it is difficult to achieve the above requirements, but the exhaust of hot air should not be sucked into the indoor air device, otherwise can not do fresh air, cleaning and cooling, the area of air shaft into and out of the air can be professional help to solve.
Note: Radiant heat emitted by generators, diesel engines and exhaust pipes should also be mechanically ventilated or naturally ventilated.
5. Emergency (standby) diesel generator station, generally do not have a separate control room.
6. The exhaust gas of diesel engine has the characteristics of high noise, high vibration and high temperature. The pipe should be connected by corrugated pipe in the indoor part. It is beneficial to reduce noise and prevent pollution by "muffler with heat insulation belt" in the room to the outdoor or flue, and to the flue. Because of the high temperature of exhaust smoke (about 500 ℃), the ordinary clay brick flue can not be durable, and should be built with refractory brick. The metal pipe should be insulated and the surface temperature of insulation layer should not exceed 60 ℃.
Note: Diesel exhaust emissions and dust removal, etc., please consult with the local environmental protection department.
7. All diesel-generator stations except the ground must be fitted with sound-absorbing materials. The inner wall of the machine room is filled evenly with rock wool in the porous plate interlayer, which absorbs sound and soundproof, and flame retardant. In addition, the inlet and exhaust air through the exhaust chamber and intake chamber, can effectively absorb sound and reduce noise.
8. The foundation of diesel generator unit is generally 200 concrete structure, the foundation length and width are the common chassis length of the unit, the width is 200 ~ 300mm each, the foundation is 50 ~ 200mm higher than the ground level, and the foundation thickness is: 1: HU K. G / (d.B.L)

No foundation bolt hole is reserved for the unit foundation. When installed, the shock absorber (or rubber shock absorber pad) is placed under the chassis of the unit, and the shock absorber and the foundation are fixed with the expansion bolt. If necessary, seismic trenches can be set around the foundation to provide better protection for buildings. The width of the trench is 25-30 mm, and the depth of the ditch is equal to that of the foundation. The ditch is filled with yellow sand or sawdust, or a mixture of the two.
