Cooling liquid level drop alarm/stop
External or internal leakage is the main cause of low coolant level. Generally speaking, this alarm is related to shutdown due to high coolant temperature. When the generator is equipped with a "near cooling medium temperature alarm" or "cooling medium temperature warning", you can determine the fault that caused the shutdown.
Cylinder heater
The cylinder heater actually heats the coolant circulating around the engine block. Maintaining cylinder temperature can prevent oil from becoming too rich at low temperatures.
A common misconception is that engines do not require heating in warm climates. The cylinder heater not only helps the engine start in cold weather. Due to the different metals used to manufacture engines, accelerated wear may occur during startup. Generally, pistons made of aluminum expand faster than iron cylinder liners. The rapid expansion of these pistons can cause wear on the piston skirts.
The cylinder heater reduces these wear by maintaining the temperature of the cooling system and expanding the cylinder liner.
Cooling liquid temperature alarm
The refrigerant low temperature alarm is mainly caused by a malfunction in the heating module. Use these heaters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and they often malfunction. However, the overall heater will never stop the engine from running. The extreme temperature inside the heating furnace is the cause of coolant circulation in the system. Sometimes you can hear the sound of coolant boiling in the cylinder heater.
Oil leakage - oil, fuel, or coolant
Daily maintenance can be carried out to prevent leaks. In most cases, oil spills are not real leaks, but rather the result of "wet accumulation". Accumulation of carbon particles, unburned fuel, lubricants, condensate, and acid in the exhaust system.
The most common coolant leakage is inside the cylinder heater tube. The extreme temperature generated by the large heater can accelerate the fatigue of the heater hose.
