How To Select Oil Tank For 200KW Diesel Generator

It is believed that many people have their own views on how to select fuel tank for 200KW diesel generator. Under the condition that most 200KW diesel generators use separate oil tanks and silent generators use base oil tanks, how to select oil tanks for 200KW diesel generators? Is the height of the fuel line really important?

The installation height of the diesel generator oil tank shall be at the same level as the diesel generator set, and the height of the highest oil level line of the oil tank shall not exceed the height of the diesel engine fuel injection nozzle of the diesel generator by 30 cm (CM), and the minimum capacity line shall not be less than the diesel engine oil inlet by 80 cm (CM). If the fuel tank is installed too high, some models will drip diesel from the fuel injection nozzle of the diesel engine due to the self pressure of diesel under the long-term standby state, and diesel will drip into the cylinder, and oil will drip from the exhaust pipe for a long time. If the oil tank is installed too low, the diesel generator may not start normally. Since the lift of some diesel engine manual oil pumps is 0.8m (M), the minimum oil volume in the fuel tank shall not be less than 80cm (CM) of the diesel engine oil inlet height.

The fuel tank of diesel generator set shall be equipped with side oil inlet, top oil return port, liquid level observation tube, top oil filler, top vent cap, bottom oil drain bolt, etc. In terms of installation, the installation height of the oil tank shall be at the same level as the diesel generator set.

In the use of 200KW diesel generator, the fuel tank is an indispensable part. This chapter is briefly explained by the generator manufacturer Starlight Power.

1. The diesel generator oil tank shall be equipped with a side oil inlet (with a valve 5-10cm from the bottom of the oil tank, and the inner diameter of the oil inlet shall not be less than 1.5 times of the diesel engine oil inlet).

2. The diesel generator oil tank shall be equipped with a top oil return port (the inner diameter of the oil return port shall not be less than 1.5 times of the diesel engine oil return port).

3. The diesel generator oil tank shall be equipped with liquid level observation tube (the highest and lowest normal safe operation oil level lines shall be set, and the highest and lowest oil level alarm shall be installed if necessary).

4. The diesel generator oil tank shall be equipped with top oil filler.

5. The oil tank of 200KW diesel generator shall be equipped with a top vent cap (vent hole, which shall be extended to the outside if necessary).

6. The oil tank of diesel generator shall be equipped with bottom drain screw.
