Intermediate maintenance of diesel generator sets should be carried out by professional maintenance personnel when the unit has run for approximately 6,000 hours or one and a half years. The specific time should be determined according to the actual condition of the generator. Timely technical maintenance can promptly eliminate any abnormal conditions of the machine, ensure that the generator set remains in good condition for a long time, and extend the service life of the machine. Pay attention to the daily operation report of the diesel generator set. If any abnormalities are detected, practical measures should be taken to eliminate most malfunctions and avoid the need for emergency repairs.
Maintenance inspection items for diesel generator sets:
1.Perform the content of primary technical maintenance.
2.Check the cylinder head assembly: Remove the cylinder head and inspect the wear conditions of the cylinder head, valves, valve seats, valve guides, valve springs, rocker arms, and the mating parts. Grind or replace them if necessary.
3.Remove the piston and connecting rod bearings. Inspect, clean, and check the wear degree of the piston and cylinder liner. Replace them if necessary.
4.Check the conditions of parts such as the connecting rod, connecting rod bearings, valve train, and governor. Repair or replace them if there is any looseness or damage.
5.Remove the cover plate and inspect the water sealing rubber ring of the cylinder liner from the lower end of the cylinder liner.
6.Remove the front cover plate and check whether the injector on the transmission mechanism cover plate is blocked. If it is blocked, unclog it.
7.Check the wear conditions of the crankshaft assembly, thrust bearings, and thrust plates. Check whether there is any play in the inner and outer rings of the rolling main bearings. Replace them if necessary.
8.Check the transmission mechanism. Remove the front cover plate, observe the wear condition of the meshing surface of the transmission gears, measure the meshing clearance, and repair or replace them if necessary.
9.Check the injector. Inspect the injection condition of the injector on a special test bench. Grind or replace components such as the injector if necessary. Check the fuel injection pump, check the sealing condition of components such as the plunger and the wear condition of the rust prevention pin. Replace them if necessary.
10.Check the oil pump, cooling water pump, and turbocharger. Disassemble, inspect, measure, and adjust the vulnerable parts.
11.Check the charger and starter motor. Clean each component, add new lubricating oil after drying the bearings, and check the wear condition of the starter motor gear and the flexibility of the transmission device.
12.Clean the sediment, dirt, and scale in the water channel.
13.When installing, it is necessary to replace the piston rings, connecting rod bearings, upper repair kit, and lower repair kit.
