The crankshaft component of a diesel generator set is a high-speed rotating moving part, so it requires high balance requirements to avoid vibration during the working process of the diesel engine. In order to ensure the balance of the crankshaft components, dynamic balancing debugging must be carried out after maintenance and installation, and the unbalance error should be controlled within 150g · cm. After passing the debugging, assembly marks should be marked on the side of each balance block and on the corresponding position of the crank arm. The diesel generator manufacturer recommends that the balance block should not be disassembled under normal circumstances. If disassembly is required, it must be installed according to the corresponding marked position and should not be replaced arbitrarily.

The crankshaft is mainly composed of the main journal, connecting rod journal (crank pin), crank arm, balance weight (not all crankshafts have it), front end (free end), and rear end (power output end). 2. Before starting the diesel engine, oil must be pumped, and during normal operation, the oil pressure must be within the specified range to ensure the normal lubrication of the crankshaft and prevent serious wear and even burn accidents caused by poor lubrication of the shaft neck.

3. Diesel generator sets are strictly prohibited from operating at overload during use, and accidents such as runaway and cylinder top should be prevented to prevent excessive additional load and damage to the crankshaft.
