In recent years, generators have been widely used in many industries, but attention should be paid to the hazards of low load operation during use. Prolonged low or no load operation for more than 10 minutes can damage the engine. Due to the low temperature in the combustion chamber, the fuel cannot be completely burned. This can cause carbon buildup around the injector nozzle and piston ring, leading to valve sticking. If the engine coolant temperature is below 60 ℃, unburned fuel will wash away the lubricating oil from the cylinder walls and dilute the lubricating oil in the crankcase. The diluents in fuel can affect the quality of lubricating oil, shorten the service life of the engine, and minimize idle time to prevent such situations from occurring. Low load operation of generator sets poses the following 5 major hazards:
1. Supercharged diesel engines have low load, no load, and low boost pressure. Easy to cause a decrease in the sealing effect of the turbocharger oil seal (contactless), causing oil to flow into the turbocharger chamber and enter the cylinder along with it;
2. Poor sealing of the piston cylinder liner, oil entering the combustion chamber, and blue smoke emitted from the exhaust;
3. Long term low load operation can lead to increased wear of moving parts, deterioration of engine combustion environment, and other consequences such as early maintenance period. Therefore, foreign diesel engine manufacturers emphasize the importance of minimizing lower load/no-load operating time when using both naturally aspirated and turbocharged models, and stipulate that the minimum load should not be lower than 25% -30% of the rated power of the unit.
4. Part of the oil that flows up into the cylinder participates in combustion, while some of the oil is not completely burned and forms carbon deposits in the valves, intake ducts, piston crown, piston rings, and other parts. Another part is discharged with the exhaust. Therefore, oil will gradually accumulate in the exhaust duct of the cylinder liner, and carbon deposits will also form;
5. If the oil accumulates to a certain extent in the turbocharger chamber, it will leak out from the turbocharger joint surface.
Since 1982, Dingbo Generator has been a generator set manufacturer qualified by the "National Internal Combustion Engine Quality Supervision and Inspection Center". The product quality has passed the IS09001 quality system standard certification. And obtained the qualification certificate for self-operated import and export. Over the years, Dingbo units have been widely used in all walks of life, and have won the network access qualification of the Ministry of Information Industry, the network access qualification of the Ministry of Radio and Television, the network access qualification of CNPC, the network access qualification of China Mobile, and the manufacturing qualification of marine units. In 2016, Dingbo was awarded the Certificate of Qualified Supplier of China Nuclear Power Group. Dingbo Generator has been cooperating with Shangchai Power for many years. In 2009, it became the OEM partner of Shangchai Power in China. Dingbo generator VOLVO unit ranks the top three in the Asia-Pacific sales volume, and is the core OEM partner of Sweden Volvo in the Asia-Pacific region.
