With the repetition of one working cycle after another, the generator set operates continuously. The control core of the generator set is to regulate and stabilize the speed by controlling the fuel injection pump, which is generally divided into mechanical speed regulation and electronic speed regulation. The electronic governor adopts double closed loop control, uses the speed sensor to detect the diesel engine speed, converts the detection result into a proportional electrical signal, compares it with the given standard speed signal, obtains the deviation signal, then adds it with the position feedback signal of the generator set actuator, and takes the combined signal as the input signal of the actuator action. The fuel supply is adjusted by controlling the position of the gear rod of the fuel injection pump of the generator set, so as to achieve the goal of speed regulation and speed stabilization.
The maximum power of the internal combustion engine is limited by the mechanical load and thermal load of the parts, which is called the rated power. The rated power of the AC synchronous generator set refers to the rated speed. When the generator set operates continuously for a long time, the rated power output is usually called the matching ratio between the rated power output by the generator set and the rated power output by the synchronous AC generator set. When the brushless synchronous AC generator set is installed coaxially with the crankshaft of the diesel engine, the rotation of the generator set can be used to drive the rotor of the generator set. Using the principle of 'electromagnetic induction', the generator set will output the induced electromotive force, and the current can be generated through the closed load circuit.
As a small power generation equipment, the generator set uses diesel as fuel and diesel engine as prime mover to drive the generator set to generate electricity. The whole set of generator set is generally composed of diesel engine, generator, control box, fuel tank, starting and control storage battery, protection device, emergency cabinet and other components. The generator set is a non continuous operation generator. If the continuous operation exceeds 12h, the output power of the generator set will be about 90% lower than the rated power.
