It is important to let the fuel cool and dry. Diesel fuel can be stored for 6-12 months under ideal conditions. To extend the service life to more than 12 months, even under the best conditions, fuel stabilizers and fungicides need to be used. If the fuel continues to remain below 21 ℃, then 12 months is the longest reasonable storage prediction. Remember, it uses diesel instead of ethanol or biodiesel.

This is particularly important for fuels that come into contact with copper, iron, and other metals, as they can catalyze or accelerate harmful reactions.
