When oil enters the air inlet, it mixes with the ignited gas, producing carbon deposits. This type of carbon buildup can stick to the surface of the piston and piston rings, endangering their normal operation. The birth of carbon deposits will increase the friction between the piston and piston rings, resulting in additional wear and damage.

4. Use other power sources to force operation instead of heating.

Heating before starting a diesel generator is particularly important. However, some people may overlook this step and immediately use other power sources to force operation. This approach is extremely dangerous as it may cause dry or air dried friction between the crankshaft and the bearing, which can easily lead to the condition of the crankshaft support bearing.

Lubricating grease is particularly important for the intermediate effect between the crankshaft and the bearing shell. It can reduce friction, wear, and heat. During engine operation, lubricating grease will enter the gap between the crankshaft and the bearing shell, creating a lubricating film to ensure its normal operation. However, without heating, the crankshaft and bearing itself do not have sufficient time to form a lubricating film, resulting in dry friction or air dried friction.
