What is the reason for the grounding of the mobile diesel generator set when operation? First, work grounding. Work grounding is to ground the neutral point. Its purpose is to reduce the electric shock voltage. The system where the neutral point of the diesel generator set is not grounded should be grounded. When the human body touches the other two phases, the electric shock voltage is more than 1.7 times the phase voltage; and for the neutral-grounded system, the electric shock voltage drops to close to or equal to the phase voltage. Quickly cut off the faulty equipment, and the neutral point of the system is not grounded. When the phase is grounded, due to the capacitance and edge resistance of the wire and the ground, it can form a current path. The grounding current is very small, and it is not enough to make the protection device act and cut off the power supply. Personal safety; as for the neutral point grounding system, when the ground current is large after the phase is grounded, the protection device will act quickly to disconnect the fault point.

Reduce the edge level of electrical equipment to the ground. In a system where the neutral point is not grounded, when the phase is grounded, the ground voltage of the other two phases will rise to the line voltage; For the neutral point grounded system, the phase is grounded. At the same time, protective grounding. Diesel generator set protective grounding is often used in low-voltage systems where the neutral point is not grounded. Its function is: when the edge structure of a certain winding of the diesel generator set has been damaged and the shell is electrified, if it is not grounded, the human body will touch the shell. Which is equivalent to a single-phase electric shock, which may cause the danger of electric shock.


And if protective grounding is used, when the human body touches the shell, since the resistance of the human body is connected in parallel with the grounding resistance, the resistance of the human body is much greater than the grounding resistance, and the current passing through the human body is very small, so there is no danger of electric shock. It also protects the zero connection. The protection connection is often used in low-voltage systems where the neutral point is grounded. Its function is: when the edge structure of a certain winding of the motor is damaged and connected to the shell, the protection connection is used to form a single-phase short circuit. The current can quickly blow the fuse in this phase, and the shell will no longer be charged. Even if the human body touches the shell before the fuse is blown, the resistance of the human body is much greater than the resistance of the line, and the current passing through the human body is also very small, so there is no danger of electric shock.
