This method is the most effective to stop the speeding. When restarting, it can increase the load on the diesel engine and stop the diesel engine. Quickly loosen the nut of the high-pressure fuel pipe joint to cut off the diesel supply. If the wrench cannot be found, the high pressure oil pipe can be smashed to stop the generator.

If there is a decompression device, turn the decompression handle to the decompression position to turn off the generator. If there is a fuel tank switch, quickly turn the switch to the cut-off position to stop the engine. If the locomotive is running, do not disengage or depress the clutch to prevent the speed from continuing to increase, and apply emergency braking to force the engine to stop.

Troubleshooting of the generator speeding: When stopping the speeding, first cut off the supply of diesel oil, and quickly loosen the tickling nut of the high-pressure oil pipe. If the speeding stops immediately, it means that the speeding of the diesel engine is caused by the excessive supply of diesel. At this time, you can check whether the oil volume adjusting arm of the oil pump plunger slips out of the fork groove of the speed regulating lever or whether the oil pump plunger and the speed regulating lever are stuck at the maximum oil supply position. If the speeding occurs just after replacing the oil pump plunger coupler, check whether the oil pump plunger oil quantity regulating arm is embedded in the fork groove of the speed regulating nucleotide, and also pay attention to whether the axial oil return hole of the plunger has processing problems and has not been Drill through. For gear rod type oil pump, when assembling, check whether the oil volume adjustment gear and the rack rod assembly mark are aligned.

If the diesel engine is still flying after loosening the high-pressure fuel pipe joint bolt, it is caused by excessive oil entering the cylinder and burning. After the diesel engine is stopped, first pull out the oil dipstick and check whether there is too much oil in the oil pan. If the oil level is too high, the excess part should be released. Whether the oil in the pan is too high, if it is too high, the excess part should be released, and check whether there is a lot of diesel or oil in the air filter core, if the oil bottom piston, cylinder liner and piston ring are seriously worn , whether the piston ring is installed backwards or stuck in the ring groove, etc. Important note: It is strictly forbidden to start the diesel engine again before the cause of the speeding fault is found and eliminated; after the fault is eliminated, it is also necessary to check whether the moving parts of the diesel engine are damaged due to the speeding, so as to avoid unnecessary losses.
