How to Reduce The Usage Failure of VE Distribution Pump? 2

4. The diesel tank of the diesel generator should be kept clean. The inner surface shall not have easily peeled metal coatings or paint layers, nor shall there be rust, scale, and other dirt. The fuel tank should be cleaned after approximately 1 OOH of normal operation.


5. In any case, disassembly and assembly of fuel injection pumps must be maintained in a highly clean state, and parts must be strictly cleaned before assembly. Each inlet and outlet oil pipe joint should not be open and should be covered with a clean cover.


6. All fuel pipes in the fuel system should be thoroughly flushed clean, and there should be no residual substances such as oxidants and metal debris inside.


7. When the diesel generator is running, it is not allowed to use up the diesel in the fuel tank, otherwise air may enter the fuel system, causing difficulties in starting the next time. In addition, mechanical impurities in the fuel tank may easily enter the fuel injection pump, shortening its service life. If mechanical impurities enter the oil control valve, it can cause engine stalling in mild cases and speeding in severe cases.


(2) Handle with caution. 1. The correct parking method. To stop the diesel generator, it is not necessary to simply use the parking lever of the fuel injection pump to cut off the fuel supply, otherwise the fuel system may be blocked by air. In general, the correct method for parking is to gradually reduce the load and loosen the speed control lever of the fuel injection pump. When the speed is gradually reduced to 500-700r/min, let the diesel engine idle for a moment before operating the fuel injection pump parking lever (from the top cover of the fuel injection pump, rotate the parking lever clockwise), cut off the fuel supply and stop the diesel engine. Only in emergency situations can the shutdown handle be directly operated to stop the diesel engine. 2. Long term overload operation of diesel engines is not allowed. Long term overloaded operation not only causes incomplete combustion, carbon deposits in cylinders and other parts, exacerbating wear, but also significantly increases machine temperature, causing the plunger of the distribution pump to get stuck and unable to supply oil to the cylinders.


(3) The correct disassembly method. 1. When disassembling the distribution pump rotor, it is not allowed to clamp the distribution pump casing with a vise, otherwise it may cause deformation of the distribution pump casing and the distribution sleeve inside, and damage the precise fit between the distribution rotor and the distribution sleeve. 2. It is not allowed to arbitrarily remove the lead seal on the speed controller to prevent the adjusted and qualified state from being damaged. Only when the original adjustment tension of the governor spring decreases, the diesel engine speed decreases, and the power decreases, is it allowed to readjust the speed limit screw, but it should be operated by experienced technicians.
