Replace the instrument panel

Circuit breaker

Voltage regulator

On most generator sets, when you reconnect the wires to different voltages, you must also carefully adjust the sensing wires connected to the regulator and/or generator control panel. If operated improperly, it may burn out the circuit board or cause other damage. Most modern commercial generators now integrate voltage regulators into the control panel, so you can adjust the voltage settings from there, which helps with all adjustments. This is mainly a good progress, but due to the addition of features, the cost of replacing the motherboard will be much higher. Old generator sets usually have an independent additional device to do the same type of work. All of these regulators automatically maintain a stable voltage to ensure that your device produces a stable output.

Transformer

If there is one in your system, some wiring may also need to be reconfigured to adapt to the new voltage.

As ATS is a critical component that ensures automatic takeover of the generator set in the event of a power outage and shutdown after power restoration, it is also important to determine the ampere rating of the automatic transfer switch (ATS).
