The installation precautions for the Fuchuang GEC4500-4G series controller are as follows:
1. Battery voltage input
The GEC4500-4G series controller is suitable for environments with (8-35VDC) battery voltage, and the negative terminal of the battery must be reliably connected to the diesel engine casing. The connection between the controller power supply B+and B - and the positive and negative terminals of the battery should not be less than 2.5mm2. If a float charger is installed, please directly connect the charger's output line to the positive and negative terminals of the battery, and then separately connect it from the battery's positive and negative terminals to the controller's positive and negative power input terminals to prevent the charger from interfering with the normal operation of the controller.
2. Speed sensor input
The speed sensor is a magnetic device installed on the engine body to detect the number of flywheel teeth. Its connection with the controller should use a 2-core shielded wire, with the shielding layer connected to terminal 24 of the controller and the other end suspended. The other two signal wires should be connected to terminals 16 and 17 of the controller, respectively. The output voltage of the speed sensor should be within 1-24VAC (effective value) within the full speed range, and the recommended voltage is 12VAC (at rated speed). When installing the speed sensor, you can first rotate the sensor to the contact flywheel, then pour it out 1/3 turn, and finally tighten the nut on the sensor.
3. All outputs of the output and extension relay controller are relay contact outputs. If an extension relay is needed, please add freewheeling diodes (when the extension relay coil is powered by DC) or add impedance capacitance circuits (when the extension relay coil is powered by AC) to both ends of the coil to prevent interference with the controller or other devices.
4. AC current input
The current input of GEC4500-4G controller must be connected to an external current transformer, and the secondary current of the current transformer must be 0-5A. At the same time, the phase of the current transformer and the phase of the input voltage must be correct, otherwise the sampled current and active power may be incorrect. Attention: a The ICOM terminal must be connected to the negative terminal of the battery. b. When there is a load current, open circuit is strictly prohibited on the secondary side of the transformer.
5. Voltage withstand test
When the controller is installed on the control screen, if a voltage withstand test is required, please disconnect all the wiring terminals of the controller to prevent high voltage from entering and damaging the controller.
