The cylinder, piston, connecting rod, crankshaft, etc. of the diesel generator set form a crankshaft connecting rod mechanism. The diesel generator set converts the reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotary motion of the crankshaft through the crankshaft connecting rod mechanism. The three operating parts of the crankshaft connecting rod mechanism of the piston, connecting rod and crankshaft have different operating modes.
1.Piston-reciprocating linear motion along the centerline of the cylinder.
2.Connecting rod-the movement situation is more complicated. The small end of the connecting rod and the piston make a reciprocating linear motion together, and the big end of the connecting rod rotates around the center of the crankshaft together with the crankshaft, so the movement of the entire connecting rod is a complex plane motion.
3.Crankshaft-rotates around the center of the crankshaft.
The working forces of the crankshaft connecting rod mechanism are as follows.
1. The gas pressure at the top of the piston.
2. The inertial force generated by the operation of the machine.
3. The frictional resistance and frictional resistance torque of each relative running surface.
4. Working load (that is, the resistance torque acting on the crankshaft).
Among them, the friction resistance depends on the structure of the engine and the condition of the friction surface, and the resistance torque depends on the size of the load, and it is all related to the speed. The total force P on the piston is the sum of the gas pressure Pg and the inertial force Pj.
Under the action of force P, there are the following effects.
1. The friction resistance and friction torque are generated between the friction resistance pairs to prevent the movement of this mechanism and cause the friction parts to be worn. Since the force P changes with the crankshaft angle, the load of the crankshaft journal and the bearing bush is different, and the wear of each part of the surface is also uneven.
2. Under the action of the output torque, the crankshaft rotates to do external work. But the tangential force changes with the crankshaft angle. In a single-cylinder four-stroke internal combustion engine, only half of the rotation of the crankshaft is driven by the tangential force in the two revolutions of the crankshaft, and the tangential force in the remaining one and a half revolutions is the resistance of the crankshaft to rotate, which makes the crankshaft rotate faster and slower.
3. Under the action of the dumping moment, the internal combustion engine vibrates left and right.
4. Under the action of the resultant force, the internal combustion engine vibrates up and down.
The internal combustion engine should try to eliminate or weaken the vibration caused by force during use.
