1. Repair of worn driving shaft and bushing of oil pump of diesel generator set

Due to the weight of the driving gear of the oil pump and the radial thrust generated by the engagement of the driven gear, it is easy to cause eccentric wear of the shaft and the bushing hole and increase the clearance. Therefore, the oil will leak due to the increase of clearance during operation, and the oil supply will be reduced.

After the driving shaft and bushing are worn, the fitting clearance can be restored by repairing the journal or bushing. When the journal is slightly worn, it is only necessary to press out the old bushing and replace it with a new one, while the shaft can not be repaired generally, so that the fit clearance can be restored to the allowable range. When the wear of the shaft and bushing is very serious and the fit clearance increases greatly, not only the bushing should be replaced, but also the diameter of the shaft should be increased by chrome plating or vibration surfacing welding, and then grinding to the standard size to restore the fit requirements of the journal and bushing.

2. Repair of worn pump housing inner cavity and gear teeth

After the wear of the inner cavity of the pump housing and the gear teeth, the pump oil volume will be greatly affected, which will reduce the pressure difference between the oil inlet and outlet cavities of the oil pump, reduce the oil scraping and oil pressure of the gear teeth, cause the oil supply pressure to drop, and reduce the pump oil volume. At this time, the wear of the inner cavity of the pump casing is generally repaired by the method of inlaying the inner cavity.

Secondly, due to the wear of gear teeth in the direction of tooth thickness, the meshing clearance of the driving and driven gears increases. The wear feature is that the wear on one side is heavy, so the gear can be turned over 180 degrees for use.

3. Repair of worn gear end face and pump cover

There is a certain clearance between the gear end face and the inner plane of the pump cover, which is called end face clearance. The wear caused by the contact surface between the gear end face and the inner surface of the pump cover will increase the end face clearance. When the limit is exceeded, it will have a significant impact on the pump oil volume.

When the gear end face is worn, the end face can be ground flat, and the disassembled surface of the oil pump housing can be ground at the same time to ensure that the end face clearance of the pump is within the required range.
