This article continues to introduce how to debug and use the Marathon MX brushless three-phase AC synchronous generator.

Debugging and use of MX series brushless three-phase AC synchronous generator

1. Although the generator is carefully inspected and tested before leaving the factory, it may still be affected by moisture or malfunction after transportation or long-term storage. A comprehensive inspection should be conducted before use.

2. Use a 500 megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of the winding to ground. When it is cold, it should be dried to a maximum of 2M Ω. If it is below 2M Ω, measures should be taken to dry it, otherwise it cannot be used. During measurement, electronic and capacitive components should be short circuited to prevent damage. Disconnect the voltage regulator wiring to prevent damage to the regulator during measurement.

3. The installation of the generator and the outlet box should be checked and tightened for each wiring joint in the screw well, and should not be loose. The conductive parts should ensure good contact.

4. The generator should be properly grounded, and the current carrying capacity of the grounding wire should be the same as that of the motor output line.

5. Before use, it is necessary to familiarize oneself with the rated parameters on the generator nameplate.

6. The double axis bearing generator must slowly rotate the generator rotor, ensuring that there are no scratches, bumps, or abnormal noises.

Voltage setting: The generator has been set to the rated voltage according to the standard before leaving the factory, and no further adjustment is required. If the required voltage does not match the set value, it can be re set according to the regulator manual.

Voltage regulator: The wiring schematic and various parameters of the voltage regulator need to be adjusted, please refer to the voltage regulator manual

In order to ensure the normal power generation of the generator, it is necessary to pay attention to:

2. Increase the speed to the rated speed, raise the terminal voltage to the rated value, and observe its stability. If it is normal, the power can be switched on and off on the platform. After adding load, the speed of the prime mover may change, and the frequency may be lower than the rated frequency. The speed of the prime mover can be adjusted again to the rated frequency.

3. Before stopping the machine, the load must be cut off first, and the machine should be stopped without load.

4. Three phase generators must pay attention to three-phase load or current balance to avoid single-phase load operation or severe unbalanced load use, which may cause damage to the generator or regulator.
