Possible reasons for the inability to shut down the diesel generator set include:

1. Operation error, possibly due to the control screen turning off the key switch before pressing the stop button. If the key switch on the control screen is turned off first and then the shutdown button is pressed during shutdown, it is due to faulty operation. It is necessary to press the shutdown button first and then turn off the key switch.

2. The shutdown solenoid valve of the diesel generator set is out of control. Originally, if the start signal of ATs was cut off and the diesel generator set was still running, it could also be a normal situation, allowing the diesel generator set to enter cooling operation and shut down. If the solenoid valve loses control due to the shutdown of the diesel generator set, it can be solved by checking if the wiring is accurate and replacing the solenoid valve if necessary.

3. The governor of the diesel engine has malfunctioned. If it is caused by a malfunction of the diesel engine governor, it is necessary to seek professional maintenance personnel for treatment.

4. Diesel generator set control instrument failure. But if it is a malfunction in the appearance of the diesel engine control, it needs to be repaired or replaced. Firstly, you can use a multimeter to measure the working voltage of the diesel engine shutdown relay and compare it with normal voltage. If the relay still does not operate, it needs to be replaced. Then conduct no-load test run and the unit operates normally.

5. If the solenoid valve loses control due to the shutdown of the diesel generator set, it can be solved by checking whether the wiring is correct and replacing the solenoid valve if necessary. In addition, a multimeter can also be used to measure the working voltage of the diesel engine shutdown solenoid valve. After comparing the normal voltage and resistance, it can be determined that the solenoid valve is too dirty, causing the solenoid valve to fail to shut off fuel in a timely manner during automatic shutdown of the diesel engine. Part of the fuel flows into the fuel injector, causing the diesel engine to run at a slow speed. At this point, the DC positive power cord must be disconnected, the solenoid valve must be removed for cleaning, and the tension of the spring must be adjusted. Then, the machine must be tested without load and the unit must operate normally.
