Ten Calibrations for The Main Control Screen of Cummins Generator Set

Due to the height of the channel being carried out without load, the busbars of the main control screen and the auxiliary control screen of the Cummins generator set should not be connected. The position of each instrument panel on the main control screen of the Cummins generator is in manual position, emergency position, and the heater instrument panel is broken.

(1) Close the screen door of the secondary control screen of the Cummins generator set and connect the power, then close the knife switch. At this point, the green signal light will light up and the shutdown button will be pressed. At this point, close the door and the red light will light up. Connect the main control screen heater and the indicator light will light up.

(2) The diesel engine of the Cummins generator set should be manually started and run at full speed in the above-mentioned working conditions. When using diesel, the green light on the instrument panel of the main control screen should be lit, and the main control screen in the voltage adjustment knob should be adjusted so that the pointer of the generator voltage meter is at 400V until now. Place the diesel engine tachometer dial in the RUN position. If the Cummins generator set is in automatic mode, the instrument panel on the diesel engine dashboard must be placed separately in "OFF" and "URN". The cooling water and lubricating oil heater circuits should be connected for the Cummins generator set to prepare on its own.

(3) Place the main control screen conversion switches in their respective auto and emergency positions, and the auto switch indicator light will light up.

(4) First, close the water and oil heater instrument panel, and then pull the auxiliary control screen knife switch to the open circuit working state. Close the delay instrument panel on the secondary control screen. At this point, the diesel engine should be able to start on its own. If the Cummins generator set successfully starts up, the green indicator light on the main control screen will light up. If the main control screen's automatic switch is closed, the green light goes out, and the red indicator light lights up, it indicates that the Cummins generator set has automatically started and is powered on after closing.

(5) Close the knife switch on the secondary control screen. At this point, the green light on the auxiliary control screen lights up. After the delay, the main control screen automatically switches on and off the instrument panel, with the red light off and the green light on and off, and the diesel engine immediately idling. The automatic switch of the auxiliary control screen closes on its own, and the red light indicating the closure is on. After 3 minutes, the diesel engine shuts down on its own.

(6) After the trial operation is normal, place the instrument panel on the main control screen in the manual position and appreciate the switch button on the secondary control screen. At this time, the power supply to the grid is normal, and the heater instrument panel of the main control screen is connected.

(7) After the mains power supply is normal, the main control screen instrument panel is still in its own and emergency position, so that the mains power can automatically start and supply power to the load in the next power outage.

(8) Check if the alarm circuit is normal. Press the test alarm button, the alarm bell rings, the system fault alarm light lights up, and an audible and visual alarm signal is transmitted. The signal immediately disappears when the button is pulled open.

(9) Place the emergency instrument panel in the testing position. The diesel engine should start automatically, but the instrument panel on the main control screen cannot be closed. After the calibration is completed, the instrument panel should be restored from the test position to the emergency position, and the diesel engine should run at idle speed. Stop the machine after 3 minutes.

(10) When the Cummins generator set automatically starts to generate electricity, if the generator is overloaded and overcurrent is turned off, the diesel engine should idle and emit an audible and visual alarm signal. After 3 minutes of manual system troubleshooting, the Cummins generator set will automatically return to normal power supply after the instrument panel is pulled from the self position to the manual position. The diesel generator set will stop the system malfunction by idling for 3 minutes. During the experiment, if the oil pressure is too low and the water temperature is too high, the Cummins generator set will automatically stop and send a light alarm signal.
