Maintenance

1. Generator set, the concrete foundation to be used for fixed installation. The depth and foundation range is determined by the unit of weight and size. If it is not fixed, the shock pad should be used to dampen the effects on the chassis to prevent excessive vibration.

2. In addition to meeting the noise index itself (1 meter index), the generator set should also consider the noise to the environment, the installation of the silencer to reduce noise pollution.

3. Regarding the diesel generator room, in order to do a good ventilation and heat dissipation, but also to ensure the minimum temperature is below 0°C, especially antifreeze insulation measures, fuel oil, lubricating oil, and cooling water in cold winter.

The diesel engine with a water temperature lower than 70°C is higher, the oil temperature is higher than 45°C, the oil pressure ratio is higher than 25 bar. Before entering full load operation, the working unit shall not be greater than 90 degrees, the water temperature and the oil temperature shall not exceed 95°C, and the oil pressure shall be within the range of 25 to 4 bar.

Adjustment methods

First, adjustment of oil pressure

There are two types of lubrication for diesel generator sets: pressure lubrication and splash lubrication. If the oil pressure is too low or too high, the lubrication quality of the diesel generator set will be affected. Therefore, the diesel generator set must control the oil pressure to the specified level during operation.

Second, adjustment of the regulator

During the use of the diesel generator set, there are often faults such as the charging current meter pointer not moving, the charging current being too large or too small. If the charging current to the battery is too large, the battery life will be shortened; if it is too small, the battery cannot be charged on time. When the diesel generator set is working, if the charging current indicated by the charging current meter is too large, the current limiting spring of the regulator should be adjusted to shorten the spring, and the current will decrease, otherwise the current will increase. Pay attention to the force during the adjustment process, and touch it gently until it meets the requirements.

Third, adjustment of the fan belt

If the diesel generating set fan belt is too tight, the wear of the alternator bearing, the water pump bearing and the fan bearing will be intensified. If the belt is too loose, the fan will have insufficient air volume, which will affect the cooling effect of the cooling water. At the same time, the generator output voltage will drop and the pump flow will decrease. , can not meet the requirements of use. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the fan belt according to the requirements of use.

Fourth, the diesel engine's decompression adjustment

During the use of diesel generator sets, it is often difficult to start due to the weather or battery power shortage. At this time, the operator can reduce the compression ratio, improve the starting resistance and start the generating set by reducing the intake valve of the diesel engine.
