The function of the diesel generator governor is to manipulate the diesel generator to operate unstable or speeding due to the speed characteristics of the fuel injection pump. When the working performance is poor, the diesel generator may shut down or work unstably, and in severe cases, it may spin, causing serious mechanical failures. Therefore, when debugging the fuel injection pump, the governor should also be corrected. The specific modifications to the speed regulation configuration of diesel generator sets are as follows:
1. Debug the high-speed start action point.
Start the test bench and slowly approach the rated speed of the fuel injection pump from low to high, so that the control arm of the fuel injection pump reaches the maximum fuel supply direction. Then slowly increase the speed of the fuel injection pump and pay attention to the direction of the correction rod. When the fuel supply decreases, the speed of the fuel supply correction gear is the high-speed starting point speed. To ensure that the specified rated speed is met without exceeding the specified value, it is usually best to adjust the speed of the high-speed starting point to 10r/min higher than the rated speed (i.e. the speed of the camshaft). The adjustment method is to change the pre tightening force of the speed spring.
2. Debug the low-speed startup point.
Start the test device below the idle speed, run the fuel injection pump below the idle speed, and then slowly rotate the control arm automatically. When the fuel injection pump starts to supply fuel, fix the control arm and gradually increase the speed of the fuel injection pump, observing the direction change of the fuel supply adjustment rod. When the fuel supply adjustment lever begins to move towards the lower fuel supply position, that is, the low-speed starting point speed, its value shall not exceed the specified value of idle speed.
3. Correction of all load screws.
Loosen the full load limit screw to allow the fuel injection pump to slowly move at the rated speed. Next, slowly move the control arm position. When the fuel supply correction rod reaches the maximum stroke, stop rotating the control arm, screw in the full load limit screw, and touch the fan module.
4. Adjust the idle stability spring.
The centrifugal force of the governor flying block of a diesel generator is very small and cannot immediately push the fuel supply control rod to maximize the fuel supply. The function of an air conditioner is to assist in adjusting the idle sensitivity. Generally speaking, the idle voltage regulator can correct the fuel supply rod to face the increased supply position by 0.5mm. If the screw does not meet the requirements, it can be corrected by adjusting the pre tightening force of the idle spring.
5. Stop and correct the fuel supply restriction screw.
After adjusting the speed control configuration, stop the start of the fuel injection pump. At this point, the fuel supply correction gear will move a certain distance towards the water injection position. Next, automatically rotate the control arm to stop all fuel supply adjustment rods, stop the fuel supply limit screw by rotating the hand, touch the cooling fan baffle on the control arm, and then fix the nut.
