After pressurization, the water distribution pipe transports the liquid to the water jacket of the cylinder, while absorbing the heat from the cylinder wall, increasing the temperature, and flowing into the water jacket of the cylinder head. The liquid is then transported to the gas pipe through the thermostat and radiator. At the same time, the cylinder rotates and attracts the gas, which is blown out of the radiator core. The gas flowing through the radiator core continues to dissipate heat into the atmosphere, is pressurized by the pump, and finally flows back into the cylinder liner, continuing to circulate, The speed of the diesel engine increases. So how to discharge the water from the water-cooled diesel generator set?
1. Due to the low external temperature, drain the water 15 minutes after stopping. Otherwise, due to the large temperature difference between the body and the external environment, deformation of diesel engine components, cylinder head deformation, and other issues will affect the working performance of the generator set.
3. After stopping the flow of cooling water, it is best to start the diesel generator for a few minutes. At this time, the remaining long pipes that are not easy to oil flow due to unit vibration, which can prevent water blockage and freezing on the cylinder head, and prevent future long pipes from flowing into the outer shell of the long pipes.
2. When discharging water, pay attention to the specific situation of the water flow, check whether the water flow is smooth, whether the water flow has decreased or slowed down. If the above situation occurs, it indicates that the water contains impurities that hinder the normal discharge of water. At this time, it is best to open the discharge port to allow the water to be discharged directly from the body. If the water is still not unobstructed, add a hard, thin steel object such as iron wire until the water is unobstructed.
5. Open the lid when draining water, and do not open the lid when draining water. Water can be drained, but due to the decrease in water volume in the tank, the tank is sealed, creating a certain degree of vacuum, causing the water flow to slow down or stop. In winter, incomplete drainage may cause the machine to freeze and crack.
4. If the drain switch is not removed, please turn on the drain switch when it is finished to prevent cooling water from flowing out due to various reasons.
7. After draining water in winter, the engine should idle. In the cold winter, the water inside the engine should idle for a few minutes after starting. This is mainly because some water may remain after the pump and other components are drained. After restarting, the water inside the engine can be started by the body temperature to ensure that there is no water inside the engine, in order to prevent pumping caused by pump freezing and water sealing.
6. Water should not be drained immediately during high temperatures. Before the engine is turned off, when the engine temperature is high, it is not necessary to immediately stop draining water. The load should be unloaded, idle, and the temperature inside the cylinder should drop to 40-50 ℃ before draining water to prevent the temperature of the cylinder block, cylinder head, and outer surface of the cylinder head that comes into contact with water from rapidly decreasing and contracting. If the temperature inside the cylinder is high and the contraction is small, the temperature inside and outside the cylinder head may suddenly drop and crack easily.
