1. The easily damaged parts of the fuel tank

When there is false welding or blisters in the internal welding part, it will cause unstable operation or shutdown of the diesel engine during operation. In addition, if there are too many impurities at the bottom of the fuel tank, the above phenomenon will also occur.

2. The cause of the failure of the fuel tank damage

The cause of the failure of the welding part of Volvo diesel generator set fuel tank with false welding or blisters is that the welding quality of the manufacturer is not good enough or there is a large vibration during transportation.

3. Repair after the fuel tank is damaged

If the welding part of the oil outlet pipe inside the fuel tank of Volvo Diesel generator sets has false welding or air leakage, the oil outlet pipe should be removed from the outside of the fuel tank, and then the oil outlet pipe inside the fuel tank should be removed. After the oil outlet pipe is damaged, it can generally be welded by brazing. After welding, check the tightness of the oil outlet pipe.

When there is false welding or blisters on the outer welding part of the fuel tank of Volvo diesel generator set, ordinary welding rod can be used for welding, but the diesel inside the fuel tank must be removed during welding. When there are too many impurities at the bottom of the mailbox, you can clean it with diesel or gasoline, and then unscrew the drain screw at the bottom of the fuel tank to drain the diesel containing impurities.
