During the diesel generator operation, if the lubricating oil pressure is too low or too high, the lubrication quality of the diesel engine will be affected. Therefore, the lubricating oil pressure must be controlled within the specified range. During the operation process of the diesel generator from low speed to high speed, the lubricating oil pressure gradually rises. After the diesel generator reaches a fixed speed, the lubricating oil pressure slowly returns to the specified value. If it cannot be restored to the specified value within 15 minutes, adjust the lubricating oil pressure.
Diesel generator lubricating oil pressure gauge needle jitter is usually caused by blockage of lubricating oil filter. When the filter element is blocked by dirt or gum and the flow is not smooth, the pressure difference before and after the engine lubricating oil is filtered will increase, so that the safety valve will be opened, the oil pressure of the main oil passage will rise rapidly, and the pointer of the lubricating oil pressure gauge will swing up; at this time, it is safe to The pressure difference between the front and rear of the valve is reduced, so that the valve is closed again, the oil pressure of the main oil passage is reduced, and the pointer of the lubricating oil pressure gauge is swayed down. When the pressure difference increases to a certain level, the safety valve is opened again. After so many times, the needle of the lubricating oil pressure gauge will vibrate, indicating that the lubricating oil pressure in the main oil passage is unstable. When this happens, the filter element should be replaced, and the vibration of the needle of the engine lubricating oil meter will disappear immediately.
During operation, when the lubricating oil pressure warning light on the instrument panel is on, it indicates that the lubricating oil pressure is lower than the specified value, and the engine should be stopped immediately to stop the fire. After 5 minutes, check whether the oil level of the engine lubricating oil is too low. If it is too low, the engine lubricating oil should be supplemented according to the regulations, and then start again, and check whether the warning light is off. Otherwise, it should be solved according to the fault of low lubricating oil pressure. However, the warning light will come on in a short time just started or when idling is running. If the light goes out after a little acceleration, it is a normal situation.
1. The storage of engine lubricating oil is too small, resulting in no oil or less oil in the lubricating system, which in turn results in low lubricating oil pressure. Remedy: Top up.
2. The engine lubricating oil is dirty or viscous, so that the lubricating oil pump cannot effectively suck and pump out the engine lubricating oil, resulting in low or no pressure of the lubricating oil. Remedy: Change the oil.
3. The engine lubricating oil is thin or the engine lubricating oil is very thin due to the high engine temperature, which will leak from the gaps of each friction pair of the engine, resulting in low lubricating oil pressure. Remedy: Change the oil or overhaul the cooling system.
4. Oil leakage from the engine lubricating oil pipeline, damage to the lubricating oil pump or excessive wear of its parts will cause the engine lubricating oil to be sucked in and pumped out, or be completely insufferable, resulting in low or no lubricating oil pressure. Remedy: Repair.
5. The clearance between the crankshaft and the large and small tiles exceeds the standard, which causes the leakage of the engine lubricating oil, resulting in low lubricating oil pressure. Remedy: Repair.
6. The pressure limiting valve or pressure relief valve spring is too soft or the hairpin or steel ball damage causes the valve function to disappear or weaken, resulting in a decrease in lubricating oil pressure. Remedy: Replace and overhaul.
7. The lubricating oil pressure is low due to the failure of the engine lubricating oil induction plug, pressure gauge or circuit. Remedy: Replace inspection.
