Finally, there is droop control. In order to ensure the stability of parallel operation of diesel generator sets, stable frequency and voltage are obtained through P/f droop control and Q/V droop control, respectively. This control method controls the active and reactive power output of each Volvo diesel generator set separately, without the need for communication and coordination between each Volvo diesel generator set, achieving equal control between each Volvo diesel generator set, This ensures the supply and demand balance and frequency stability of the parallel system of Volvo diesel generator sets. The droop control adopts a voltage and current dual loop control, with a fast dynamic response speed in the current inner loop, which is used to improve the power quality of Volvo diesel generator sets. The voltage outer loop controller has a slow dynamic response speed, which can control the output voltage of the system and generate an inner loop reference signal.
