Under the suction of the intake stroke, the air flows through the carburetor at a higher flow rate. The air flows through the carburetor throat (where the cross-sectional area of the air passage is reduced) to form a vacuum. The nozzle connecting the float chamber is also at the throat. The oil is sucked out from the nozzle. The high-speed intake air flow will be blown away and atomized by the gasoline sucked into the carburetor throat, forming a combustible mixture into the cylinder.
