A 200kW Silent Diesel Generator Provided by Dingbo Will Be Used for A Project in Guangdong

Recently, SINOHYDRO BUREAU 7 CO.,LTD placed an order for a 200kW silent diesel generator set with our company. The genset will become a standby backup power source and provide reliable electricity for the B1 project of Guangdong Water Resource Allocation Project construction round Beibu Gulf in Maoming City, Guangdong Province.

Guangdong Water Resource Allocation Project round Beibu Gulf is one of the important projects in water resources in China. It is listed as one of the 150 major water projects in China. The total length of the project is 490.55 kilometres, including the water conveyance line. Its total investment is 61.456 billion yuan. This project was also listed as one of the 55 important water projects to be promoted by The State Council in 2022. The project is an important infrastructure built up to promote the high-quality economic and social development of cities including Zhanjiang, Maoming, Yangjiang and Yunfu. It was planned and built by Guangdong provincial party committee and government. It is also one of the water diversion projects in the history of Guangdong, with the largest amount of water diversion, the longest water conveyance line, the most complex construction conditions, the most extensive impact, and the highest total investment. The completion of this project will help to systematically solve the water shortage problem in the four cities of Western Guangdong, fundamentally solve the millennia-long drought in Leizhou Peninsula, and benefit 18 million residents along the route.

This 200KW silent diesel generator set for the project is equipped with Shangchai 6DTAA8.9-G33 engine, which meet the national III emission standards. The engine uses a 6 Cylinder design, simple structure, the overall size is smaller than the same power diesel engine. The bore and stroke of the cylinder is 114 mm * 144 mm. With supercharging and intercooling technology, the diesel generator set drives the engine (1500 RPM) with a displacement of 8.82 L. It uses high pressure common rail fuel system and the engine type is in-line, four-stroke and turbocharged structure. The supporting alternator of the generator set is Shanghai Kepu TFW2-200 model, which adopts all-copper brushless excitation and self-cooling structure. The controller is SmartGen HGM6110CAN, and the system uses a large-screen LCD display panel to display various parameters, the generator running status and alarm information in Chinese. The operation panel is equipped with stop/reset, mode switch, start button, LED indicator and emergency stop button, which allow users to get system support and operate and maintain the generator easily.

The generator set is equipped with a silent canopy that reduces noise and protects the unit from adverse weather when used outdoors. The noise level of this silent diesel generator is under 80 dB(A) at 7m. The canopy adopts splicing design to ensure the overall strength. The silent canopy is well-designed and well-ventilated, which can ensure the diesel generator set operates at a suitable working ambient temperature and avoid further problems like overheat and reduced power output.
