When conditions permit, antifreeze should be added to the cooling water radiator in winter. When conditions do not allow, hot water can also be added to the cooling water radiator after the generator is started. After the generator is started, add cold water to the cooling water radiator, but the body drain valve and the water valve of the radiator must be opened until the cooling water flows out of the body drain valve, then close the drain valve and continue to the cooling water radiator Add cold water until it is full. If the drain valve of the generator body and the cooling water radiator is not opened, the cooling water cannot all enter the body due to the hot air pressure generated by the body. In severe cases, the cooling water may freeze in the cooling water. In the water radiator, the phenomenon of boiling occurs.

After the shutdown, the cooling water should be drained.
