Here are some recommendation for diesel generator maintenance.

1.Check oil and water level, air filter every day.

2.Check start-up battery and V type belt tension after 250 running hours or 3 months.

3.Change oil and oil filter after 250 running hours or 3 months.

The maintenance period of diesel generator set shall be calculated according to working hours and calendar time, whichever comes first.

According to the actual operation condition of Weichai generators, the customer shall carry out maintenance in advance if necessary. The maintenance cycle and maintenance items of the engine should be adjusted according to the use, service condition and the performance of fuel and lubricating oil.

The standby diesel generator set is required to maintain a good standby state of rapid start-up and operation, so it is required to carry out regular maintenance and the following commissioning:

1. Run for 5-10 minutes with proper load every week;

2. Run for 5-30 minutes with proper load every month;

3. Check starting performance, lubricating oil pressure, exhaust smoke color, vibration etc.
