For the first start after a long period of storage, it is necessary to check whether the fuel and lubricating oil used in the diesel generator set engine has degenerated or mixed with impurities and moisture. If the fuel lubricating oil degenerates or is mixed with moisture and other impurities, it is necessary to replace the fuel and lubricating oil that meets the requirements from the beginning, try to replace the degraded oil in the engine oil circuit with qualified oil. Replace the fuel filter and lubricating oil filter at the same time. When conditions permit, it is best to start the engine once a week and work at idle speed for 3-5 minutes. The moisture in the fuel will corrode the oil circuit of the diesel generator set, especially the three more delicate parts (injector assembly, fuel injection pump outlet valve assembly, fuel injection pump plunger assembly), causing the engine to suffer Black smoke, serious conditions will cause the fuel injection pump plunger and assembly to be stuck, and the fuel injection pump fuel supply conditioning rack cannot work normally under the drive of the speed control organization and stuck, resulting in serious consequences such as the engine being unable to start or speeding.
