Long-term storage due to gravity, fuel and lubricating oil will return to the lower position of the engine, causing some oil circuits and parts to be in non-fuel or lubricating oil soaking conditions.

For the first start after a long period of storage, it is necessary to check whether the fuel and lubricating oil used in the diesel generator set engine has degenerated or mixed with impurities and moisture. If the fuel lubricating oil degenerates or is mixed with moisture and other impurities, it is necessary to replace the fuel and lubricating oil that meets the requirements from the beginning, try to replace the degraded oil in the engine oil circuit with qualified oil. Replace the fuel filter and lubricating oil filter at the same time. When conditions permit, it is best to start the engine once a week and work at idle speed for 3-5 minutes.
