2. When the temperature is high, the fuel will evaporate, and the fuel vapor will make the pressure in the fuel tank too high. In both cases, it is required to automatically communicate with the atmosphere when there is a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the fuel tank. Therefore, a vent hole should be provided on the cover of the fuel tank to balance the air pressure inside and on the surface of the fuel tank.

3. Make sure that the vent hole on the fuel tank cover is smooth when using it. If the vent is blocked or the fuel tank port is pierced with a plastic sheet after the fuel tank cap is lost, then when the diesel generator set is working, the fuel tank will have a negative pressure due to the drop of the fuel level, and the diesel generator set will not work. Phenomena such as stability, power drop, automatic flameout, and difficulty to start in the warm state.
