Therefore, the oil pressure must be controlled within the specified range. The oil pressure range of the 135 series naturally aspirated diesel engine should be 0.25～0.35MPa, and the oil pressure range of the Deutz FL513 diesel engine should be 0.36～0.48MPa. Just 1 minute after the diesel engine is started, if the indication of the oil pressure gauge does not rise, it should be shut down quickly for inspection, the cause has been found and the fault has been eliminated, and then the engine should be started and the oil pressure should be observed.

When the diesel engine is running from low speed to high speed, the oil pressure gradually increases. After the diesel engine reaches the rated speed, the oil pressure slowly returns to the specified value. If the specified value cannot be restored within 15 minutes, the oil pressure must be adjusted. Diesel engines have a pressure regulating valve on the side of the oil filter. Remove the nut, loosen the nut, and turn the adjusting bolt with a screwdriver.

When the bolt is screwed in, the oil pressure should increase; when the bolt is screwed out, the oil pressure should decrease. After adjustment, tighten the lock nut. If the oil pressure is still too low after adjusting the oil pressure, the quality of the diesel oil suction pan or the oil should be checked.
