Engine consists of two major mechanisms (crank linkage mechanism and valve mechanism) and five major systems (fuel supply system, cooling system, lubrication system, starting system and ignition system).
The engine of the diesel generator set drives the generator to convert the energy of the diesel into electrical energy. The generator set uses the principle of 'electromagnetic induction', and the generator outputs an induced electromotive force, which can generate current through a closed load circuit.
The genset air-cooled cooling system uses air as the cooling medium. The high-speed moving air generated by the fan directly removes the heat of the high-temperature parts, allowing the diesel engine to operate at the optimum temperature. Heat sinks are arranged on the outer wall of the cylinder and the cylinder head to increase the heat dissipation area, and an air hood and a baffle are arranged to properly distribute the cooling air and improve the air utilization rate, so that the cooling effect is more effective and uniform.
The PT fuel system is a patented product of Cummins Engine Company of the United State. Compared with the fuel system of a typical diesel engine, the PT fuel system has its own unique features in composition, structure and working principle.
