The oil filter of diesel generator sets is used to remove mechanical impurities such as debris, dust and colloidal deposits in oil, so as to reduce the wear of mechanical parts, prolong the life of engine oil, prevent oil road clogging and serious accidents such as burning bearing bush. The performance of the oil filter directly affects the overhaul duration and service life of the diesel engine.
In order to provide enough fresh air for diesel generator set operation, diesel engine intake should be arranged in the air circulation place outside the engine room. Diesel intake pipes for diesel generator set should be avoided as far as possible and the number of bends should be reduced, or use a large arc transition.
The diesel generator fuel system should supply clean fuel to the engine continuously. Most installations have a daily tank, a large tank and pump and associated systems.
The uneven speed of diesel generator set is mostly caused by the abnormal resistance of the parts of the injection pump and governor and the slow response of the governor. Generally, there are two kinds of performance. One is a large swing, the voice is clearly identifiable, commonly known as gasp or tour car. The other is that the speed fluctuates in a small range, the sound is not easy to appear at low speed, which will lead to the diesel engine flameout.
