Diesel generator set is a kind of power equipment which uses diesel engine as prime mover and drives synchronous generator to generate electricity. It is a power generating device with quick start, convenient operation and maintenance, less investment and strong adaptability to the environment.
Engine should avoid long idle speed and less than 50% rated power operation. Because the engine runs at a long idle speed or low load, the fuel injected into the cylinder cannot be completely burned, which will lead to carbon deposit. Thus clogging injector nozzle holes and piston rings, and may make the valve jammed. And easy to cause turbocharger oil leakage into the compressor and lead to exhaust pipe oil injection and other phenomena.
Exhaust turbocharger is actually an air compressor that increases air intake through compressed air. It is mainly made up of turbine and compressor.
With the continuous progress of science and technology and the increasing shortage of power supply, more and more applications have been made for all kinds of communication equipment and units. However, the service life and reliability of the generating set not only depend on the degree of structural perfection and product quality of the generator itself, but also are closely related to the correct use and serious maintenance.
